Today Pastor Drom brings tidings of a brief hiatus while we go on a faculty trip. Not to worry, we will return in two weeks.
Be Safe, and Pray for me.
Welcome to the Hidden Almanac, I’m Reverend Mord.
PD: And I’m Pastor Drom!
Today is April 8th, 2015.
The Hidden Almanac is going on hiatus for two weeks while we are on a…sigh…team building exercise with the Ravencoast School of Divinity.
PD: It’s gonna be great, Mord!
PD: We’ll have campfires! And sing! And do workshops!
PD: It’ll be great, Mord! You’ll make lots of new friends!
RM:I do not need new friends.
PD: …honestly, Mord, do you have any friends? Other than me?
RM:I have George. George is all I need.
PD: George is an excellent crow. I’m just saying, if you break both your arms, he’s not going to help you go to the bathroom.
RM:Neither are you.
PD: No, we’ll get an intern for that. But you need friends, Mord! This trip’ll be great! You can really open up! We’ll get right up into that dark, twisty little brain of yours and let the sunshine in!
Err…figuratively, of course. We’re not doing the whole trepanation thing. They cancelled that after what happened last year with the professor from Ritual Studies.
RM: That’s a shame.
PD: Oh, but we’ll still have fun! We’ll do trust exercises! Here, Mord, I’m gonna fall back and you catch me!
…okay, we’re gonna need to work on that one.
RM: The Hidden Almanac is brought to you by Red Wombat Tea Company, purveyors of fine and inaccessible teas. Red Wombat --- “We Dig Tea.”
That’s the Hidden Almanac for April 8th, 2015. Be safe. I’ll be back as soon as I can.
