Biography[]

The Librarian Prince was a tyrant who ruled in the late 1700s and early 1800s. He passed a series of laws known as the Hateful Decrees, and was assassinated by Gray Hemlock. The Tomb of the Librarian Prince is located in the Traitor's Graveyard, and is described:

"We stand in an immense library. It resembles a labyrinth, but is in fact supremely well-organized. No one with an understanding of catalog systems could become lost for more than a few moments.

At the center is a sarcophagus, in which lies the body of the Librarian Prince. Engraved upon the stone is a list of all of his crimes and the names of his victims. The text covers the entire sarcophagus, the platform it lies on, and spirals out onto the floor like a black sun. The font is very small. It makes one think, and primarily what one thinks is 'Let me not cause such pain before I die.'"

According to Reverend Mord, the Librarian Prince's many crimes were condensed in the history books, into a series of ridiculous notes, so no one would attempt to follow in his footsteps.
