November 21st is the Feast Day of Saint Fibble, patron of brightly colored socks. Fibble is represented as a large rabbit wearing multiple socks on both feet and both ears. The origins of Saint Fibble are murky and it has been suggested that Saint Fibble is not actually a true saint, but a very clever marketing scheme conceived in the 1700s by a family of sock makers that really knew how to play the long game.
