September 8th is the Feast Day of Saint Oakenforth, who grants us shelter. Oakenforth was a very old oak tree which sheltered Saint Marilyn within its trunk when she was sought by her enemies. It is represented as an acorn with a tree inside and a woman curled among the roots.
