June 23rd is the Feast Day of Saint Perro, patron of fashion designers, who's represented as a slender, older woman clad in leopard print robes. Janet Joanis, the noted fashion designer, took Saint Perro as her personal guardian and printed the saints image on the tags of her particular brand. The editor's column in the noted fashion magazine Hemline was titled "Notes from the book of Saint Perro", and she appears on the magazine's masthead to the minor annoyance of a number of popes.
